To meet the stringent needs of biotechnology research and production customers, the company’s cell culture sera and bioprocess liquid manufacturing facilities are segregated between animal origin-free cGMP manufacturing and animal component cGMP manufacturing. GeminiBio is an ISO 13485 certified, FDA registered Class 1 Medical Device Manufacturer, aligned with 21 CFR Part 820.

Position Summary

The Process Liquid Solutions Sales Specialist will actively drive sales to achieve sales targets of GeminiBio catalog Process Liquid Solution products. Includes generating, qualifying and follow-up of sales leads across biotech and life-science markets. Implement an effective follow-up system for inquiries and sales, and nurture leads to the point of sales closure. Includes collaborating with distribution channel partners to drive indirect business.  Gather and summarize data for evaluation of market impact, share and market strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and exhibit detailed knowledge of GeminiBio catalog Process liquid portfolio and value proposition.

Drive revenue growth through focus on biotech biopharmaceutical, CMO/CDMO’s and medical Device Manufacturers in defined region.

Implement account management strategy across key target functional groups, process development, research, and manufacturing.

Analyze current sales and future sales potential in the region and develop a regional sales plan to maximize the market potential. Recommend goals for sales and market share.

Develop and exhibit extensive knowledge of the bioproduction markets to enable effective communication.

Collaborate effectively with channel partners to drive opportunities and revenue.

Maintain consistent customer contact for on-going sales of GemPure High Purity Water products.

Work to transition customers from GemPure High Purity Water catalog products to full custom manufacturing services.

Possess and demonstrate ability to quantify the cost of customer needs and translate into customer recognition of needs.

Possess and demonstrate highly professional communication skills to ensure effective communication of GeminiBio products.

Provide regular reports of sales activities, status of sales leads, and projected monthly sales with key in month opportunities.

The position is based in the region assigned out of home office. This is a full-time position.

Required Skills and Experience:

BS in biology, bio-engineering or related field preferred.

Established region knowledge and key account contacts in biotech, biopharma within your region.

Possess a hunter mentality with a proven track record of driving lead generation through leveraging next generation techniques (i.e., mining of LinkedIn, Networking events and other mediums)

Preferred Track record of penetrating and radiating key accounts (R&D, Process Development, Manufacturing)

Excellent communication skills, SFDC, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Creative, highly motivated self-starter with good insight and problem-solving skills, and highly able to effectively coordinate multiple tasks and projects.

Benefits and Compensation

Base salary plus commission can range between $95K-$120K per year. Competitive salary/sales incentive plan based on experience.

Environmental Elements & Physical Demands

Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer; vision to read printed materials and computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person, and over the telephone; must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push and pull drawers open and closed in the execution of duties.

Must be able to travel overnight frequently.
