A Biologically-Relevant, Chronic, In-vitro Solid Tumor Model: Implications for Metastasis Research
Webinar
We present a new way to create a truly chronic in-vitro model of the solid tumor microenvironment, delivering weeks of continuous hypoxia and nutritional challenge in an acidic environment to enable physiologically-relevant cancer stem cell and metastasis developments.
A novel solid tumor model in the Petaka G3: a simple, progressive, in-vitro model of the harsh tumor microenvironment and its implications in metastasis research
Webinar
We present a model of chronic, progressive tumor hypoxia and nutritional restriction that is not easily replicated in any other device, and which establishes the minimum oxygen consumption of these cells in a manner similar to their in-vivo condition. With this system, we provide for much longer chronic treatment than is possible in an open culture system like flasks. In addition, we can easily multi-sample from the Petaka over weeks, so researchers can serially measure biomarkers of interest without disturbing the hypoxia treatment,
Advanced cell preservation (cryo and non-cryo) with the Petaka G3
Webinar
We discuss the Petaka G3’s unique ability to provide 7-10 day ambient, non-cryo cell storage and worldwide live cell shipping. Robust rapid freeze thaw with no dissociation step for healthier cells. The Petaka G3 eliminates transfers, which reduces contamination risk.
Novel closed, scalable GMP-ready cell culture with the Petaka G3
Webinar
Learn how the unique sterile, closed design of the Petaka G3 minimizes contamination risk during centrifugation, transfection, and staining. We will also discuss how you can rapidly scale from 10MM to 1 billion cells without changing devices or protocols.
