Accelerate CAR-T R&D with Simultaneous Coulter Principle and 2-Color Flow Cytometry Cell Analysis
Webinar
The CAR-T cell therapy market is an exciting new area of therapy based on new cellular constructs from patient-derived T cells. These new products can be segmented by the target antigens including CD19, CD22, BCMA and others. However, researchers still face challenges when optimizing constructs for clinical effectiveness balanced with safety concerns.
Engineering strategies to overcome the current roadblocks in CAR T cell therapy
Webinar
Guest Speaker Dr. Sarwish Rafiq from the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine will discuss current roadblocks in CAR T cell therapy and how researchers are engineering strategies to overcome these challenges. We will explore optimization of the efficacy and efficiency of CARs along with how to make them safer.
Accelerate CAR-T workflows with a powerful 2-color flow cytometer combined with precision cell sizing and highly accurate cell counts
Webinar
In this webinar you will learn how the Moxi GO II:
- Helps you better understand your T cells
- Offers QC for residual dynabeads in patient dose
- Measures T cells for release criteria
A Biologically-Relevant, Chronic, In-vitro Solid Tumor Model: Implications for Metastasis Research
Webinar
We present a new way to create a truly chronic in-vitro model of the solid tumor microenvironment, delivering weeks of continuous hypoxia and nutritional challenge in an acidic environment to enable physiologically-relevant cancer stem cell and metastasis developments.
Sophisticated cell health monitoring assays made accessible to all levels of researchers from novice students to flow cytometry experts
Webinar
During this webinar, we will review three applications. The first set of data will review measuring reactive oxygen species using ThermoFisher’s CellROx assay. This is a powerful assay made easily accessible on the easy to use Moxi GO II instrument. The second assay will demonstrate monitoring mitochondrial membrane potential using TMRE as a reporting agent. The third assay is an apoptosis assay that uses FITC Annexin-V with Propidium Iodide to monitor early and late stage apoptosis.
Emerging Applications of Focused Ultrasound for Immunotherapy and Extracellular Vesicle Modulation in Solid Tumors
Webinar
Guest speaker Dr. Natasha Sheybani from the University of Virginia introduces a disruptive, emerging therapeutic technology for non-invasive, non-ionizing acoustic energy deposition into tumors: focused ultrasound (FUS). We explore how FUS is being leveraged to potentiate immune modulation, extracellular vesicle modulation and drug delivery in solid tumors. We cover a diverse array of pre-clinical and clinical applications at the cutting edge of FUS immunotherapy that span such settings as triple negative breast cancer and glioblastoma.
The new Moxi V — Combining Coulter Principle-based cell sizing/counts and Flow Cytometry-based cell viability measurements, it is the ideal platform for single cell sequencing and CAR-T applications
Webinar
During this presentation we introduce the newest instrument in the Moxi family of products, the Moxi V (Viability). We review the basic functions of the instrument and several of the onboard assays. These assays include a PBMC check to validate the purity of PBMC sample preps and a CAR-T cell expansion assay to help accelerate CAR-T research.
*Moxi V discussed is for Research Use Only.
A novel solid tumor model in the Petaka G3: a simple, progressive, in-vitro model of the harsh tumor microenvironment and its implications in metastasis research
Webinar
We present a model of chronic, progressive tumor hypoxia and nutritional restriction that is not easily replicated in any other device, and which establishes the minimum oxygen consumption of these cells in a manner similar to their in-vivo condition. With this system, we provide for much longer chronic treatment than is possible in an open culture system like flasks. In addition, we can easily multi-sample from the Petaka over weeks, so researchers can serially measure biomarkers of interest without disturbing the hypoxia treatment,
ACCELERATE CAR-T RESEARCH WITH FAST PBMC QC CHECKS, MONITORING T-CELL ACTIVATION, CAR TRANSDUCTION AND T-CELL EXPANSION
Webinar
Low quality PBMC sample preps and inaccurate cell sizing and counting can lead to investigator frustration, loss of time, and wasted resources. The best way to combat these problems is by using flow cytometry. While it can be intimidating, this powerful method has been made accessible to all researchers with the Moxi GO II.
Gemini Bio offers an educational webinar to review how the Moxi GO II can be used to improve CAR-T research workflows. The Moxi GO II is a portable and easy to use instrument that can assist with:
Case study: Uniquely allowing large fold expansion of adherent cells with no passaging in a GMP compliant bioreactor system
Webinar
We present anonymized data from an ongoing collaboration that
demonstrates our ability to eliminate passaging (cell harvest and
reseeding) and go from small cell numbers (<1 million) to
clinically relevant numbers (as high as 2 billion) in one closed
device with simple to use microcarriers. We show how our
microcarrier-based culture offers an effective solution to
process scale up in our closed system.
TWO CASE STUDIES ON HOW TO AVOID COMMON SAMPLE PREP ISSUES LEADING UP TO A SUCCESSFUL 10X GENOMICS WORKFLOW
Webinar
Gemini Bio offers an educational webinar to review how the Moxi GO II can be used to ensure accurate cell counts for 10x genomic research workflows. Whether it is human PBMCs, mouse macrophages or cell lines, the Moxi GO II can provide researchers with the confidence that they have correctly isolated their target cell at the recommended cell concentrations for a successful single cell experiment.
Advanced cell preservation (cryo and non-cryo) with the Petaka G3
Webinar
We discuss the Petaka G3’s unique ability to provide 7-10 day ambient, non-cryo cell storage and worldwide live cell shipping. Robust rapid freeze thaw with no dissociation step for healthier cells. The Petaka G3 eliminates transfers, which reduces contamination risk.
Novel closed, scalable GMP-ready cell culture with the Petaka G3
Webinar
Learn how the unique sterile, closed design of the Petaka G3 minimizes contamination risk during centrifugation, transfection, and staining. We will also discuss how you can rapidly scale from 10MM to 1 billion cells without changing devices or protocols.
